The Cenotaph is a war memorial located within the Esplanade Park at Connaught Drive, within the Central Area in Singapore's central business district.

It is a war memorial located within the Esplanade Park at Connaught Drive. The description is "They died that we might live". It is to commerate the soldiers who lost their lives in world war 1 and 2. It was built finished in 1922. Such a sad place. However, there were no names of the dead carved on the memorial.
